Provincial Tournament, 2000

In the Men's division, every game except for one went to the 6-point tie break set to decide the outcome of the matches played between Regina Thunder, Saskatoon Rebels and Regina Riot, over the May long weekend at Miller High School. The excitement and tension watching these games was incredible! After round robin play, there was a three-way tie for first. Even though the one other team in the pool of four did not have the experience, the Jumpers, a group of boy's from Dale's House, sure showed some talent of their own. In the finals Regina Riot had to settle for Bronze when they were defeated by Saskatoon Rebels in a nail biter, the scores being 6-15, 15-14, 5-6. Saskatoon went on to win Gold, defeating Regina Thunder (who won Silver) in the 2nd set 15-6, and in the tie break set, 6-4, after losing the first set 8-15.

The Jumpers received an automatic gold medal and prizes since they were the only boy's team entered. The two women's teams played a 5-match series against each other. Last year's champions, VVD, once again came out on top, defeating a brand new team, Nitro Chicks, in three straight matches.
